Gemologist, jeweller and engineer. I work with two hard materials: diamonds and software.
Profile
I come from a diamond manufacturing family in Thrissur. I studied computer science, then went back to stones properly — training with GIA in gemology and in jewellery manufacturing.
Today I am a partner at Jwala Diamonds & Jewellers, where I served as CEO from 2017 to 2022. The work taught me that jewellery is a business of trust measured in fractions of a millimetre: a stone is either what the paper says it is, or it is not.
The engineer in me never left. I still write code — web applications, Python, Go, cloud and data, and lately AI — and I bring the same habit to both trades: look closely, measure, write it down.

Diamonds & jewellery
Natural diamonds and studded gold jewellery: grading, specification, manufacturing and quality control. I care about the unglamorous parts — the certificate, the spec card, the tag on every piece — because that is where trust is actually made.

Software
Web applications, Python, Go, cloud infrastructure, data and AI. Most of what I build is a tool that removes a person from a repetitive job, or a number that lets an owner see the business from a phone.

Design & photography
Jewellery design, identity and the camera. A piece has to be drawn before it is made and photographed after. I do both; some of it is on Instagram.

- seashell A small cryptocurrency and wallet on a proof-of-authority chain.

- pi-clap Clap detection for the Raspberry Pi, as a Python package.
- ddnslab Dynamic DNS for Cloudflare, running as a Worker API.
- scapy Step CA Python manager, for running a private certificate authority.
- telegram-bot-worker A generic Telegram bot that runs on Cloudflare Workers.
- envlock Encrypts, rotates and shreds secrets files from the command line.
The Go tools above sit under goozt, a GitHub organisation I use to keep them together and to publish them through Homebrew and Scoop.
